Churdhar Peak (3,647 meters / 11,965 ft) is the highest peak in the outer Himalayas (Shivalik range) located in Sirmaur District, Himachal Pradesh. It's a revered site associated with Lord Shiva (locally worshipped as Shirgul Maharaj) and offers stunning 360° panoramic views, including glimpses of the Kedarnath and Badrinath ranges on clear days.

Avoid monsoon season (July–August) due to slippery trails and leeches.
In winter (Dec–April), the trail is snowbound—possible for experienced trekkers with snow gear.

The Chureshwar Mahadev Temple at the summit is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Locals believe Lord Hanuman rested here while fetching the Sanjeevani herb.
